Website Designer

Web Designers at Raincross create compelling website designs for various industries that effectively convey unique brand experiences. This role will require an ability to translate business needs into actionable creative solutions that make use of web design best practices to drive consumer behavior. Exceptional web design/coding skills, communications and interpersonal skills required.

Full-Time Position

Requirements
  • An online portfolio demonstrating solid web design and front end development skills
  • Ability to design web pages in Adobe Photoshop CS6
  • Experience working on CMS & e-commerce platforms such as: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Shopify & WooCommerce
  • Proficient in hand coding pixel perfect & valid HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with responsive design & development a plus
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with brand goals and integrate brand experience into designs
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to generate, articulate and present creative ideas and strategies

Responsibilities
  • Design website structures and graphical assets that convey unique brand experiences in a way that meets business objectives.
  • Deliver creative solutions that can be implemented within a content management system

  • Present creative concepts internally to key stakeholders, as well as externally to clients (mostly via phone and email)
  • Collaborate with development and content team to ensure creative alignment and a smooth transfer of work between teams
  • Adhere to defined creative workflow and contribute to the evolution of our overall creative process
  • Participates in kick-off meetings, design reviews, department meetings and training sessions as requested

Front-End Developer

Raincross is seeking a front-end developer that is hard working and passionate when it comes to building interactive websites. Through the use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, candidates should be able to build the foundation for a website that can be easily scaled.

Full-Time Position

Requirements

Online Marketing Strategist

Description

Raincross is seeking a full time marketing rockstar to manage client accounts, devise and implement strategies and craft winning content daily.

Candidates must be extremely motivated, possess excellent research and writing skills and pay very close attention to detail.

Full-Time, Contract Position

Responsibilities
  • Master the art of creating content: blog articles, updates on social sites, press releases, infographics (or at least the concepts behind them for our design team to create) are all part of the ideal candidates daily tasks
  • Research and analyze the latest data to uncover gaps; stay up to date on the latest trends and be quick enough to jump on them before they pass
  • Convert through compelling CTA’s: Create copy for signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, ads, etc to help brand reach their goals
  • A/B test: Do you know what works and what doesn’t?
  • Craft brand strategies:  Figure out what they’re doing right, what they’re doing wrong and create strategies to implement. Research to include competitor marketing, trends, etc. Come up with creative new ways to help clients grow and become more successful
  • Social advertising: Run ads on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit and any other social platform that allows us to
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing or similar

SEO / SEM Specialist

Overview

The SEO / SEM Specialist will manage and execute search strategies for clients across a variety of industries, using both paid search and organic tactics. The specialist will devise content strategies, research and test keywords, manage Pay-Per-Click campaigns, analyze click-through data, and identify synergies between SEO and SEM to inform both strategies.

Part-Time, Contract Position

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze company and clients’ sites for areas of improvement
  • Develop keyword and contextual search strategies
  • Manage pay-per-click campaigns
  • Write effective headlines, copy, and websites
  • Develop relationships with industry publications and bloggers
  • Understand use of landing pages and how to write effective call-to-actions
  • Work with analytics team to strategize on ways to improve and track site performance
  • Stay up to date with SEO blogs and best practices, using resources like SEOMoz and Google Webmaster Tools
  • Manage outreach and link-building efforts to drive visibility within search engines
  • Take key concepts and extrapolate to metrics and reporting
  • Work within cross-functional teams and integrate SEM campaigns and SEO approach within all applicable client online media campaigns
  • Manage campaign budgets and forecasts
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Has a strong understanding of inbound marketing fundamentals: SEO/outreach, content marketing, analytics, social media, and community building

Internships

Part-Time Position

Like our regular positions, we hire marketing, SEO, design, development and online marketing interns on a rolling basis. Regardless of the department in which you are looking to apply, our internship program is consistent across all departments. We want our interns to flourish as part of the team. You will not be a coffee-fetching minion or glorified paper-filer (in fact we hardly use paper!). Our goal is for you to learn as much as you possibly can while you’re here. You can expect, and are expected to:

  • have knowledge of the department in which you apply (some experience is a plus, but not necessary)
  • be challenged on a daily basis
  • participate in company-wide meetings
