While driving through the City of Riverside you are sure to see the Adopt-A-Street signs placed at over 100 various streets. They are adopted and cared for by community volunteers, such as Raincross. We sponsor a stretch of Alessandro Boulevard between Trautwein Avenue and Canyon Crest Drive. Six times a year our team gathers to do two-three hours of street clean up from litter to returning lost shopping carts. It’s a fabulous way to help keep Riverside clean and to get out from behind our computers!
Raincross has teamed up with the Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) and the Moreno Valley Unified School District (MVUSD) to offer middle school aged children an opportunity to discuss and learn more about website coding and future careers in web and application development.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire opened its doors in 2013 with the help of the Orange County agency, recognizing the mentoring void in the region. Serving more than 600 children each year in the metro regions of Riverside and San Bernardino counties, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire has quality mentoring models that are changing lives of children in the region.
