Raincross is looking for a dedicated and passionate front-end developer to create engaging, interactive websites. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, you will build scalable and robust website foundations, ensuring high-quality, responsive designs that enhance user experience and performance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS: Exceptional skills in HTML and CSS, with a strong understanding of responsive design and implementation.
• CMS & E-commerce Platform Experience: Experience with content management systems and e-commerce platforms such as WebFlow, WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce.
• Browser & Device Compatibility: Knowledge of best practices for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility to ensure consistent user experiences.
• JavaScript & jQuery Knowledge: Solid understanding of JavaScript and jQuery for enhanced interactivity and functionality.
• Graphic Asset Management: Familiarity with Photoshop and the ability to extract image assets from PSD files.
• Passion for Web Technology: Eagerness to stay informed on industry trends and the latest technologies in the web development landscape.
• Project & Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities that foster teamwork, enthusiasm, and strategic collaboration.
• Experience:
  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience creating websites in a production environment.
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience (agency experience preferred; academic and non-professional experience will be considered).
  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, online media, or a related field is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Portfolio: Must be able to provide examples of previous work.

Responsibilities

• Transform Design Files into Code: Convert Photoshop-based website designs into clean, W3C-compliant front-end code.
• HTML Styling: Style HTML elements following content entry to enhance the user experience and visual appeal.
• Website Maintenance and Updates: Modify and maintain websites and web applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Hand-Coded Landing Pages: Develop landing pages from scratch based on completed designs.
• Email Newsletter Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and code email newsletters.
• Contribute to Company Growth: Stay updated on the latest web trends and proactively suggest improvements to enhance company processes and outcomes.
