The challenge
Regenesis had genuine technical authority in bioremediation, but that authority was hard to find. Search visibility trailed the company's standing in the industry, and the traffic that did arrive rarely turned into a request, a download, or a conversation.

What we did
Work started with search. Technical corrections cleared the way for indexing, and a content program mapped to how environmental engineers and site owners actually search, by contaminant, by site condition, and by remediation method, moved Regenesis into the results where those decisions get made.
Organic search carried the largest share of the growth in traffic and visibility. Referral performance reflected the partnership and link building work behind it, and direct traffic rose as brand reinforcement took hold. Paid search, paid social, and display ran alongside the organic program to reach audiences the technical content alone would not reach.
Reporting stayed on sessions, pageviews, and goal completions across Direct, Organic Search, Referral, Email, Paid Search, Social, and Display. Every channel was judged on what it contributed to conversions, not on the traffic it happened to produce.
The technical corrections came first because nothing else compounds without them. Pages that could not be crawled cleanly were not competing at all, and a content program built on top of an unreliable foundation would have spent a year proving nothing. Clearing indexing meant the later work could be measured on its own merits.
Content was then organized the way a remediation decision is actually made. An engineer does not search for a company, they search for a contaminant, a site condition, or a treatment method, and they arrive already knowing the vocabulary. Writing to that level of specificity narrowed the audience and raised the value of every visit.
That specificity is what closed the gap between traffic and conversion. Goal completions rose 3,759% while sessions rose 1,016%, which means conversions grew several times faster than the audience did. The program was not simply reaching more people, it was reaching a materially better-qualified set of them.
Referral performance tracked the partnership and link building work, and direct traffic rose as the brand became something people looked up by name rather than found by accident. Those two channels are the slowest to move and the hardest to buy, which is why they are the clearest evidence the authority was real.
Paid search, paid social, and display ran alongside the organic program rather than in place of it. They reached audiences the technical content would never surface for on its own, and because every channel reported against the same goal completions, the mix could be judged as one program instead of a set of competing line items.
Every channel was judged on what it contributed to conversions, not on the traffic it happened to produce.

Visibility is only half the result
Traffic growth is easy to celebrate and easy to waste. The program treated rankings as the means and conversions as the measure, so on-page work, content structure, and campaign targeting all pointed at the same set of goal completions.
The conversion gap closed fastest through organic search and referral, where the technical content and the link building work compounded.
